Boston vs New York?

Hi guys, have offers from both of these places at good firms (would argue the Boston one is slightly better, but not significant). Currently working in NYC right now, so wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on what Boston is like and how it compares to NYC? Have already lived in the city for ~3 years and loved most of it—the night life, the food scene, the hectic atmosphere, and the fact that most of my friends are here (got a few good ones in Boston too, but many more in NYC). Wasn’t a particularly big fan of the fact that the city itself is, with the exception of a few select areas, a bit dirty, and I also believe that Boston is a better place to raise a family in the future (though I’m not at that stage in life yet), but maybe NYC is better for living the life. Would appreciate any thoughts!
