Business Development Associate Role at Investment Bank
I am currently interviewing a business development role from an boutique investment book. I am currently having ~4 yrs of exp at the investor relation role at a reputable asset management firm. Always hoping to get the opportunity to have the investment banking skillset, as I realize it really opens a lot of potential opportunities in PE, Venture Capital etc.
However, given that the role I am currently interviewing is a business development role, not an investment banking role, I am not sure how relevant investment banking skillset/experience I will be able to get out of this position, not to mention the base pay is pretty align with how much I am getting paid now. Anyone could provide some advice on this?
