Can I Go Into Software Engineering?

I'm a recent A2A, never changed my WSO title. I was wondering if anyone has made the move from IB -> SWE. For reference, I majored in History with a minor in Computer Science from a T1 college. I'm relatively okay at coding but this will likely require either quitting and spending a few months doing leetcode, or having to go back to school for post-grad education. Question is, I'm not even sure if that would work. Would I be eligible for new grad, entry-level roles? I've also contemplated more project / product management oriented roles but land at a similar point. Why would they hire someone from IB? Would be great to have anyone share their experiences if relevant.
