No, you'll get murdered. You need a PC - all the shortcuts are different, the interface is different, and you won't be able to install their macros.
I love my Mac (typing this on it), but for excel modeling, it has to be Windows - especially if you're trying to follow along in a class.
I tried, Office for Mac looks nice and formats stuff nicely, but in terms of functionality it's shit. Trust me on this, do yourself a favour and get Office 2007 and BootCamp.
Put an apple sticker on your PC best of both worlds.

What are my options?
I want to keep my Mac OS.. Can I download Windows but switch between OSs? And does this mean I have to buy MS for windows?
excel on a mac is not the same as excel on a PC.
the shortcuts are entirely different, and that's basically the entire point of these wall street modeling prep classes.
