Can someone explain to me what kind of role Investors Services is?
Title.
JP Morgan is so cryptic with their descriptions.
You will begin your Investor Services career in one of five businesses:
Agency Clearing, Collateral Management and Execution Services
Custody & Fund Services
Investor Services Sales
Agent Lending & Depository Receipts
Financing & Prime Brokerage
I honestly can't tell if it is a Transaction Services role, Corporate Treasury, a Syndicate role or a combination of these.
MO roles. Use the search function for MO roles and you'll get the picture.
Can someone provide me additional insight?
Can someone just tell me if this is the same as operations/clearing transactions/etc... or closer to a Middle Office department (credit)
It's a line of business within JP Morgan. There may be middle office positions within it but it's not middle office in in and of itself.
What exactly is the source of your confusion? The website actually seems to pretty clearly articulate what services the division provides for their clients.
