Cantor Fitzgerald 2025

Moving politics and the leadership aside, what are the refreshed views of the firm in 2025? Saw they acquired UBS O'Connor and are doing a lot with crypto (CEP) and lending. How's the comp and culture? Is it a good place to work for?

Sure move politics aside, but leadership is a crucial part of the culture/comp.

Very toxic leadership (not just the brotherly duo), and leaders who sued airlines over 9/11, then kept the money for themselves instead of the hundreds of victims that died working at CF (they distributed it based on stock ownership, not to the families like it should've been)

Now on a day to day life of a random person, the culture trickles down to group heads, mds, and all the way down to your supervisor. I've yet to hear anything good about this firm, other than the sleazy and morally repugnant ways they earn their money.

They’ve done (and still do) a tremendous amount of charity for 9/11 victims and their families, both from Cantor and other companies. I don’t work there, but am close to people who’ve had support from that philanthropy. Also had family on site near the WTC.

Sure, and oil&gas companies also donate to environmental charities, it's no different than greenwashing. They want the first article that comes up when you search "cantor Fitzgerald 9/11" to be about their charity, not their sleazy ways. Donate all you want, but these guys screwed over hundreds of their own employees families, including his own brother... It's like if you got hospitalized for working too much and then your MD decides to speak at Mental health conferences instead of giving you more time to sleep
