Anyone have insight into the IB Capital Markets group at Houlihan Lokey (or just IB capital markets (non-BB) in general)? Unable to find much really. What I’ve found/heard so far shows comp similar to M&A IB but with less hours/weekend work. Anyone able to confirm this? Also if you have anything else to add about the job/lifestyle it’d be much appreciated!

Cool opp. It’s basically a leveraged finance capital markets arm they created to be a lead arranger in Lev fin deals, mostly as right lead - to underwrite deals later distributed to institutional investors - in return getting 2.25-2.75% fees for 1st lien-2nd lien term loans. I would pursue.
They just word the name of the job poorly IMO that it creates confusion. Idk why firms insist on doing this in general
