Capital markets interview
So I have an upcoming final round interview with Deutsche for their Capital Markets division. This is my first real time in the capital markets division interview process and I’m curious as to how much technicals can I expect in the interview? The first phone interview was strictly qualitative, I’m not sure if I should expect that again or if there will be technicals.
Compared to traditional IB they are easy af. However, it also depends on what kind of experience you have on your resume and where the conversation naturally goes to. For example, if you have some fixed income stuff on your resume, expect some basic questions on bond yields, interest rates, etc. From my experience capital markets ppl tend to ask you questions to see if you can formulate a certain view on market and less on cookie-cutter questions from a guide. It’s both good and bad depending on what your skillset is.
