Capstone Headwaters, Opinions?
I recently received an invitation for an interview from Capstone Headwaters and was wondering what the current opinions and prospects were from fellow monkeys. Any experience would be insightful. Thanks.

I mean are you passionate about studying Chemical companies?
Don't know much about the firm but am a big fan of their M&A industry coverage reports. Great source for identifying comparable companies and precedent transactions in more niche industries.

Sounds interesting
My team also uses their industry reports as a source. Good initial information when starting to research an industry
I would steer clear. Below market comp (base and bonus) with long hours. Several juniors have jumped ship recently. The firm probably won’t be around for much longer anyway.
received the same interview request.
Really far down market in terms of both deals and comp. More comparable to no name regional boutiques rather than even the lower tier middle market firms.
This. Combined with the fact that they think they are much better than they are. I had a friend who was networking heavily in the Denver market and said that capstone seems to be a great option in that market, but seems to be on the lower end of the spectrum in the boston market. Their deals seem to be smaller then what you would see at true MM firms.
What does all in comp look like at the analyst and associate level?
