I currently work in credit risk at a large bank in NYC. I cover asset backed securities. I am wanting to transition to Investment Banking, but want to get an idea of what groups would be ideal given my background. I know structured products would be possible, but are there any other IB groups that could work? I have been thinking about possibly taking some modeling courses to help learn about DCF, M&A, and LBOs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
