Career Path to Financial Engineering? (Derivatives Structuring focused)
Alongside IB, I'm increasingly considering FE, since, judging from what I've read here, on Reddit and so on seems to suggest IB isn't that intellectually challenging.
Moreover, FE seems to provide a path to more research oriented roles and a potential doctorate role.
I'll admit I'm reaching quite a bit into the future thinking about this, but my point stands.
As a Canadian student heading to uni next year, what would be the ideal path to gaining a derivatives structuring role?
