Case Study Interview

Hello,

I have a case study interview in a few days at a sellside boutique. I was told I’d have 2 hours to build a dcf using an IS and BS they will provide, but they said there is a qualitative PowerPoint component and that I shouldn’t need to leverage outside resources to get through it. They just sent me a few pages of an industry report covering the sector this company probably falls under, but there isn’t much in there besides growth rates by segment.

In your experience, how should I prep for the qualitative portion and the PPT pages they’ll ask me to create? I don’t know anything about this industry so if any of you have similar case study prompts with outlines of what they expect I would greatly appreciate it!
I would imagine a company overview slide, an industry overview / positioning slide, pros and cons to transaction slide, dcf output slide? I only have 2 hours and part of that will be dedicated to building the dcf

appreciate any guidance, again if they are only providing this packet they sent me there’s almost nothing on there I can use for a positioning or market backdrop slide so not sure how to prep
