Centerview Networking SA27
I’m a sophomore currently going through recruiting and noticed there isn’t much information available on Centerview’s process. I also saw that the website advises not to reach out, so I was wondering if anyone knows when Centerview typically starts logging calls, or when would be a good time to begin reaching out given that some of the other banks have already started rolling out trackers.
CVP’s process isn’t as reliant on networking as other banks. The main thing is the application on handshake. Only a few schools get access to the application on handshake, and if you aren’t at one of the schools that has access, odds of breaking in are essentially slim to none as an SA.
Perfect, that makes sense. I do go to a core school for them. If I wanted to speak with some people beforehand, when would be a good time to reach out?
Never really a “good time” to reach out, but keep in mind that they are probably receiving hundreds of networking requests every week so you don’t want to be forgotten down the line, but you also don’t want to be trying to rush the networking process. Considering CVP has some pretty lean teams, networking with just 1 or 2 solid contacts should be plenty
Do you know what the handshake app consists of? Is it basically just a resume drop like everything else?
This isn't entirely true. While centerview's ny office does usually limit it to the handshake schools. Analysts do take calls and have had 2 friends get interviews by way of that. Their women's program also takes people from other schools.
What about their London office?
