CFA

Hi,

Hopefully, you help me understand the way.
I recently obtained an investment management master degree. From my understanding, this degree is derived from the CFA program. Soon after graduating, I landed an internship in real estate. I'm hearing from some sources that the research I have done in my masters is related to real estate. I am also getting responses saying the opposite.

My end goal is to use the information from my masters as much as possible so i could remember them and use them. Of course, some information will be useless and just extra stuff. However, I feel like I should be able to land roles in the following jobs:
1- Acquisitions Manager
2- Controller
3- Credit Manager
4- Equity Analyst
5- Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
6- Internal Auditor
7- Risk and Insurance Analyst
8- Treasury Director

Here’s 2 scenarios:
• Scenario 1- I leave the real estate industry and move onto any of the roles mentioned above instead.
o What are some accomplishments you think I should be focused on during my internship that would help me develop the skills to increase my likelihood of landing those jobs mentioned above?
• Scenario 2- let’s say I stay in Real Estate…
o What are some skills from each of those jobs mentioned above that would be essential to my transition into real estate?
