CFA® for Capital Markets
I know the CFA®
is considered useful on the trading site and not so much on the banking side but I was wondering useful it is for CM (particularly ECM) since it falls in between. I'm graduating early so I have a few months off and was thinking of taking Level 1 in June.
It is more applicable to buy-side positions. Think asset management, hedge funds, mutuals, etc. And for the sell-side really just research. So it would really depend on what you wanted to get in to long-term.
Hope that helps.
