futurectdocA JD does not transfer well, cold call firms, say that you want to come on as analyst.

how much does a semi-high gmat help?

also does cold calling/emailing actually work?

It doesn't really, I got an internship off cold calling, so I am a big believer in it. Going law to finance does happend, I know someone from YLS who is a VP at GS. However you need to go to the T-14 for that, specifically HYS if you want it like that. Target boutiques and MMs, without the proper school it will be difficult to break in at the BB level.

futurectdocWhat about midlaw? Also IDK if making the jump to a non T-14, T-25 is worth it. If I was at a good T1 state school it might make more sense to stay at the lower cost. PM me
