Someone explain how this guy weaseled his way into people thinking he is an "expert" on anything. He dresses worse than a professor, looks like someone you threw tomatoes at back in Old Europe, has a website that looks like it is from 1995, and adds little of value to the discussion on banking.

Your criticizing him for things that I don't care about. If you're ever listening to people based on what they wear and how old their website is then good f'in luck to you.
As for his value add for banking research, I have no clue. I know he shows up on TV from time to time but I only turn the sound on for great investors or legendary moments such as Ackman vs. Icahn.
