Does anyone have any insight on the GIF team at Citi? I understand that this is a pretty new team and the co-head joined around 2021 from Goldman to run the group.

They specialize in infra debt advisory and believe will underwrite in some specific instances. Group is very technical in nature (as are most project finance groups) and has historically had great exits to the buyside in infra/energy.
By technical would you say that from a background perspective? As in do i have to be top in maths etc?

They are a competitor of mine. Really strong team and good culture led by a strong group head. Many of the leaders in the infra finance industry have come out of the group. Recommend.
