Citi in Dallas focuses on middle market deals across various industries. Very independent from New York. Some cool guys there, but I don't think the office is too big.

I'm not sure of many banks with offices in Dallas. Most of the BB's are in Houston specifically. Citi, Bear, Greenhill, HLHZ are the ones in Dallas that come to mind.

I think Citi Dallas resembles more of a regional M&A/private placement ibank that works across various industries than a regional BB that does big energy deals in Houston or big tech deals in SF.

As for hours, I would think they would be lower, and thus compensation a little lower, but again I'm not sure. This is what a remember from talking to a few associates at a Citi presentation this fall. Hope this helps.

After interviewing with them, I was told that they are a fully executional office. Yet again, I don't have any first-hand experience. I didn't really get the feel of the people interviewing me, one work came to mind - douchebags. They said that they do deals over all industries and they get to travel quite a lot, according to them. But I don't know, didn't feel them at all. Oh, also they mentioned that their MD is a woman.
