how much would saying I play a club sport improve my resume? just wondering if i should pull the trigger on such a time commitment or not

As someone in a club sport, its marginal on the resume but you can use it to show that you have interests outside of finance and aren't a complete boring hardo. I always mention it in interviews ofc, but you need to reevaluate some stuff if your resume is the primary factor for doing something like this. I enjoy playing soccer and it improved my mental health because I was able to take a brief break from school and activities, got friends out of it, and travel a bit.
