Analyst bonuses aren't paid until July, we don't have any data to go off of.

I obviously know that BB firms pay out bonuses in July, but a lot of middle market and boutiques give out bonuses at the end of the calendar year, and if you are a first year and started in July they will give it to you on prorated basis

My analyst friends at UBS are expecting 0-5 bonus this year (and these are 2nd years). I know atleast one guy who's going to come in blasting with a sub machine gun on his floor if that happens.....

I will be incredibly surprised if a mid-bucket 2nd year analyst gets less than 10k. If so, that is ridiculous. What about the desks who made a killing in 08? Are they just SOL?
