I just finished up an internship a major ratings agency. I wrote a report on McDonald's that hasn't been published yet. Is it okay to put the company's name on my resume? if not, can I say something like "one of the world's largest fast-food companies"?

The approach I've taken with the including transactions/projects on my resume is: if I cant find details using a quick google search or from disclosed statements then I'll omit the name since its not really fully public yet. I personally rather be on the safe side and describe it like you mentioned, "large fast food company", "leading regional bank", etc. on my resume.
