Confused by some bank's corporate banking structure..anyone can help?

Hello guys, as you might know, this year is extremely hard for directly securing a position in IB, as such, i am also considering some corporate banking opportunities, but I got very confused by how different banks organise their corporate banking business:

- JP Morgan: i know it has CIB segment but it also has a commercial banking segment where some roles' responsibilities are extremely similar to the corpo banking business;

- CITI: banking, capital markets & advisory is its traditional IB segment, but it also a commercial banking segment under ICG department, again some roles look very similar to corpo banking roles.

Natwest: after its rebranding, does Natwest put its corpo segment under commercial banking as well? since it only has the market segment under FO business.

These are just some examples, could someone work at these companies or someone who has expertise in the corpo banking sector help to explain please? any discussion or insight will be appreciated !

All the best !

The difference is mostly the size of the clients they cover. Commercial banking only covers small/medium sized companies that IB might not cover. Corporate banking would have similar client base as IB.
