Corporate Finance Analyst to Boutique bank.

Is it doable to break into a boutique bank or any bank really coming from a year of corporate finance as a Financial Analyst? The corporate finance role is in NYC and is in the Healthcare Industry. It is bigger than most fortune 500 companies but not in the fortune 500 as it is not publicly traded. Any advice would be appreciated.
