Could expense reimbursements count against you?

Started a few months ago and M&A deal flow at my bank (Canadian big5) was quite slow these last few weeks & months. Not expecting layoffs but should one worry that they would consider reimbursed expenses (for allowed expenses, like late night office meals + Ubers) as a reason for letting employees go? Kinda feel guilty sometimes maxing out the expense amount every night but it gets billed to clients and I'm sacrificing my free time and life to this job so I usually dgaf.

Any thoughts?

I always tip by Uber drivers to get like a dollar under the expense amount I'm given and haven't been yelled at yet
