Credit Agricole Structured Finance

Does anyone have the info on Structured Finance at Credit Agricole? I got an interview from Structured Finance - Agency and Middle Office team. I would like to ask what this team does. Anyone could share more info about it? Thanks

Agent banks in a transaction typically help coordinate the rest of the lending syndicate. Kind of vague but basically they distribute borrower information (financial statements, operating reports, insurance certificate) using data sites like debt domain and intralinks. They also make sure waivers and amendments are approved by the lenders in a reasonable timeframe. Middle office (if grouped with agency) sounds like portfolio management. There you would monitor closed transactions, process waivers and amendments, complete annual or quarterly reviews. For CA, I think structured finance would be a good amount of project finance, maybe some real estate and asset backed lending (not so sure on the last one).

think I heard from a frd of a frd sort of info. Agency is the loan administrator for the bank pools, most likely you will handle drawdown repayment, transfer and waiver request etc. I would say it is a bit boring and administrative in its nature. I suggest definitely go for a FO if you are into project finance or structured finance, you are less likely to develop some technical skills (modeling, structuring, industry research, legal documentation etc.) in a AMO position.
