Credit risk --> front office (IB lev fin/DCM/Corporate banking)

I've been in credit risk at a BB (GS/JPM/MS) for a year, and I'm so ready to move to front office. I've been doing annual/quarterly reviews, working on credit transactions with IB folks on my sector, but was never really directly involved in any revenue generation.

From credit risk, which front office position would make most sense, or be relatively easy to move into? I heard lev fin, dcm and CB are some options as they deal with credit/debts.

Thanks!

Not sure, but I think credit risk at JPM is the best of those banks by a decent margin given JPM is a balance sheet bank. I would imagine LevFin or DCM make the most sense. However, if the market is still hot, I don’t see why IBD wouldn’t be possible. I know people with far less relevant experience who landed pretty good IB spots.

Bankers strongly dislike credit risk folks, so not sure if that makes it any harder.
