Answer is yes. I've heard back already.
Few of my friends are already done with 1st round interviews at CS.
I believe CS in SF has already sent out interview notifications, however I was told interviews would not take place until January for their NYC office.

Can confirm the 11/1 deadline. Was told so by an alum inside the firm. That said, I'm not at a target.
Have a first round interview with CS on wed. anybody have any idea on what type of questions to expect? Don't feel I'm prepared enough for in depth technicals...

Were you asked about any technicals?
I've never understood why people freak out about banking interviews. They take like 2 days to prep for if you have any background in finance. Every interview is almost identical. Know your story/resume, why IB, why them, a little info about the firm, and know the basic technicals. If you get grilled beyond that, they probably don't like you anyway.
not sure where you've been interviewing, but my EB interviews were all super technical and intense on technicals (conceptual business type of questions and what if scenarios). never the same. BB's were the only ones that were easy on the technicals.
If you learn the technical guides, technical questions aren't hard. Obviously, it requires a little more studying without a finance or accounting background, but the actual material isn't rocket science.
had my interview today but somehow forgot to get the guy's email address so have no idea how to send him an email as I don't remember his last name either. This a big deal?

very basic technicals, really nothing to worry about...ways to value a company is the only one I got. Just mad at myself for not asking for email.
If anyone one else has the virtual interview this week, pm maybe who interviewed that would be great.
same issue as d. wade. Was told by interviewer to get it from recruiters but cannot get a response. anyone happen to know the name or email of the COO of the GMSG at CS and can PM it to me? Would really appreciate the help. How big of a deal is it if i dont send thank you email?
i got some odd technicals and was asked to pitch a stock for an IBD intv..
my advice for emailing people: linkedin their first name and Credit Suisse.. see if you can find a profile with a picture that matches up..

Mine is App under review, but to be honest it doesn't really matter. The guys who were supposed to get first rounds already got and are done. Don't stress over it and move on.
They haven't even gone through OCR for Target schools, which is in January. Most interviews happen in the January - February time frame. Those who received interviews and are "done" were in an accelerated process. You still have a chance. I wouldn't rule yourself out until late January.
Mine still says first round interview scheduled. So I haven't officially been dinged, but seeing as others have already been invited to the superday, I can't imagine that I will get good news in the following days.

I got in touch w/ recruiter.. said that we definitely will hear back and they are working "as diligently as possible"
