Cross border job ?

Hello guys,

few weeks ago a Chinese M&A boutique contacted me on my LinkedIn to ask if my current boutique (I'm intern) want to collaborate with them for cross border deals. They actually have a lot of clients who want to invest or buy businesses in Europe.

I forwarded the message to the MD and he wasn't interested at all, they actually don't like cross border deals. So I was thinking to ask to the Chinese boutique if I can work for them once my internship is going to be over either as a freelancer or full-time.

What I can do for them is : - Creating lists of potential targets - Contact targets - Meeting with target and presentation of our clients

Have you done that before ? Should I ask for a fixed salary+ a success fee or just a success fee? Ans what about the work contract ?

Thanks

Hey French35, what a lonely thread. I'm here since nobody responded ...so maybe one of these discussions will help:

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
