CS/applied math/finance ?
Hi everyone !
I’m on my last high school year and I’ve 3 majors in mind :
- computer Science
- Finance
- Applied mathematics
Knowing the market, what would you choose ? I’ve got a particular interest in finance and I’ve heard that an applied mathematics degree can be extremely useful.
On the other way, I’ve got that GAFAM utopia post CS degree.
I’m Belgian btw
Thanks for your help
If you want to do finance then do finance, but also, your degree doesnt matter that much (assuming you’re at a top school). Personally I think it’s a waste to do CS if youre not going to actually go into tech
What about applied mathematics ? Wont it come handy ? Lemssouger is a perfect example, don’t know if you have heard of
him
Are you interested in trading/quant or banking/pe? I guess it just depends on what kind of finance you want to do
