CV or Resume?

Hey everyone. So I am currently looking for internships in banking for the winter and have been cold emailing like crazy. I have been lucky to have already received a response. So my question is even though they requested a CV, would it be okay for me to send my resume? I thought a CV was more of a European thing and am concerned as to whether I should just make a CV or just send my resume.

Any help would be great monkeys!

I think a CV is the same as a resume. People in the UK always called it a CV and people in the US always called it a resume. At least that has been my experience so far. I don't know of anyone who ever got called out on sending their resume when they were asked for their CV.
