Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights into video interview questions for similar roles:

  1. General Format:

    • Typically, there are 3-4 questions.
    • No practice questions are provided.
    • Questions are usually behavioral rather than technical.
  2. Common Behavioral Questions:

    • Talk about a time when you solved a problem and had to incorporate a diverse set of perspectives in the solution.
    • Give a sales pitch on something you're interested in.
    • Describe a time when you worked in a team.
    • Explain a time when you solved a complex problem and how you arrived at a solution.
  3. Preparation Tips:

    • Ensure you have a quiet and clean place to record the interview.
    • Make sure your camera and microphone work properly.
    • Practice answers to common behavioral questions.
    • Maintain eye contact with the camera.
    • Speak clearly, confidently, and concisely.
    • Stay calm and confident, as you may only get one chance to record.

What is with people always wanting to know Hirevue questions?

They're always going to ask about why ib/why the company, then some behaviourals and, at most, a commercial knowledge question. If you can't handle the heat from those then get out of the kitchen

Are the pre-recorded video interviews a make-or-break in the hirevue process? I just completed an HV for Deutsche Bank and performed quite well in the situational judgement test and the cognitive abbility assesment, however I feel like i really sucked during the pre recorded video interview (unstructured responses, lots of "ehms",...). Do they actually watch those videos and would they reject someone with a strong CV and strong results in the other parts of the HV just because of poor pre-recorded interview performance?

I just checked my score reports - Is it possible to get cooked by 1 potential limitation on Working with People?

1st report (it seems more like an overview):

1 potential strength (Analysing)

7 moderate stregths

1 potential limitation (Working with People)

2nd report (SJT):

4 Highs

2 Mediums

0 Lows

Ofc, I received the HireVue and I think I did well
