DCF or NAV for infra?
Hey guys,
Was personally thinking about this for a while but any thoughts on what valuation method would be more relevant for an infra model? I've only seen infra DCF's thus far and kind of questioned that because the concept of a NAV would seem sort of relevant for infra models
What types of assets? This ultimately drives whether or not you do NAV. personally have only used DCF, but the only infra deals I have done work for are pipeline deals
maybe like a tollroad or airport?
Why are you thinking you would you use NAV for an airport? because of high capEx? I think you would just use a DCF
How were you thinking you would you use a NAV to value an airport? I've never seen or heard of it, but I've also never worked on an infrastructure deal before.
