Debt to equity

Originally started in PubFin at a MM and have transitioned my coverage to include project finance and IG issuance. I am grateful for the opportunity to start my career in the credit markets and build a strong macro foundation but ultimately, I want to work with equity markets in some capacity in the long run. Has anyone ever seen or made a switch from a debt group to ECM? I’m not super familiar with IB -> asset management but also curious if there is any mobility in product coverage. Thanks!
