Delaying graduation to recruit for IB SA
I am a junior at a semi-target and have just become interested in pursuing IB. I'm thinking about delaying graduation by a semester or a year to recruit for an SA position in 2022. I am wondering if it would be appropriate to call myself a "sophomore" in networking emails and cover letters (given that I will graduate with the Class of 2023)? Or should I just confess that I am a junior delaying graduation to recruit?
Why not just recruit full time? Will give you more time to prepare and won't have to waste a year in income by staying in college. Yes, it may be more difficult, but at the same time you would have more time to prepare
don't be an idiot. you know the answer.
no matter what anyone else here says, do NOT admit you delayed your graduation. call yourself a sophomore and draw no attention to anything
what about telling people you already have connections with? and having a reason for it (taking on a minor)
Delaying graduation to recruit for SA is quite common. Just don't tell anyone

Curious on what happened. Did this person delay?
