From Tampa, slowly networking my way back there. What do you need to know?
Not op but who are the top players? And is there alot of front office roles?
As far as I know just Baird and RJ for MM and up. Plenty of tiny boutiques though from what I know.Jack shit for institutional level FO though from what I've found. It's almost an anomaly how under developed the scene is there for high level finance / consulting / tech. JLL/CBRE have offices though if you're interested in real estate (although CBRE does not have its REPE arm there).I’m hoping to move to my firms Orlando office in a year or so, and then move from there
I just moved here and was hoping to meet some others that work in Finance in the Tampa Bay area.
Following
Baird specialty distribution, Raymond James, I believe Stiffel has an office there as well. Lots of smaller boutiques and then some LMM PE firms (mainly Healthcare focused I can think of). Same sentiment as others are saying, there are not a lot of opportunities in finance and consulting in Tampa for how fast it has been developing sadly.
