UBS would likely offer the same notice period CS is offering if it’s “standard”

CS paid extremely low bonuses so I don’t see that being an incentive for most people but senior bankers might have more incentive  

Waiting around to get fired by UBS vs firing yourself and collecting severance could yield similar cash flows since UBS will give you severance too and while you’re waiting to get fired by UBS, you can still look for jobs

Why wouldn’t you wait?
