I think having any internship as a freshman is impressive. I worked on a ferry in Rhode Island until my Junior year when I got my first finance internship. What's most important in your freshman year is keeping your GPA high. Most firms don't expect 18 and 19 year olds to have crazy experience. You want your resume to show a good school with great grades and strong leadership experience, whether that means you have had a finance internship or not. Great job though, definitely try to get as much as you can out of your role and pad up your resume as much as you can because it will only help you when junior year summer recruiting comes along.
I agree with the above. I worked retail until my junior summer. My group head will only interview kids who have had some sort of retail or other entry and/or minimum wage type job because those kids usually have better people skills.

Absolutely good luck there!
Absolutely good luck there!
I didn’t have an internship freshman year but got offers at BB’s and MF PE.
It will not set you back as long as you are involved and doo all the other stuff needed for a career in this industry. Good luck.
