Did several modeling tests when I was trying to lateral. 3 hours is enough time for a quick 3 statement model and DCF. Would be prepared for a 3 statement model and DCF or 3 statement model and LBO.

What firm is this for? Usually they will tell you what to expect.

Advice I was given for timed modeling tests is to focus on content first then formatting. I would always build myself a template to have ready that had common line items where I could easily input whatever data they gave me. Made it easier to have the formatting down and saves you time.

I had a 4 hour test which included a 3 statement model DCF and company overview page FWIW

I will trade my 1 hour modeling test that I got for your 3 hour modeling text after you’re done. How does that sound?
