I do not think you lack the knowledge or job capability. You clearly were smart and driven enough to get a summer/ FT offer. That is not an easy feat.
From your post, I can tell you lack confidence in yourself. I did for most of my life until I realized I couldn't give a shit about what others think about me and what's truly important is accomplishing my goals. Getting jacked and reading also helped me.
