Desired Salary?

Hi there! :)

As you may already know from my other 1,000,000 posts, I am currently a college freshman, and I am on the verge of securing an internship, so I'm FUCKING HAPPY!

However, the firm wants to know what is my desired salary. Should I put zero, since I have no prior experience in finance? If not, then what should I put?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Yeah market works or just put "To be discussed". Thats what I usually did.

Ask around, get an idea of what they have paid in the past. Or put the Market.

fucking lol you're not actually supposed to give a number dude you're supposed to simply say "any amount would be fine as i really just value the learning opportunity" would not be surprised if you didn't get an offer

.

I usually put the range of the salary I would expect to receive given the position and my experience. But that's just me.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

Put "one million dollars" and include a picture of yourself shaved bald and your little finger up to your lip

IlliniProgrammerDon't answer it until you absolutely have to. That's my take. Better to let them put out a bid first.
I've always put $0 for them, but the question is always mandatory.
