I haven't seen a thread for the Deutsche Bank's Summer 2021 IB internship. So, I am starting one. I was also wondering if someone could comment on how DB is viewed as on the street. I have heard good things about their Financial Institutions group as well as their Structured Finance group.

Word on the street is that DB is losing a lot of talent and at risk. Personally, I think they will be fine and probably some opportunity to grow. Harder to learn as an intern though I'd think. When does the class start and is it remote?.
I wonder if that's because they sold their equity business to BNPP.
Can anyone see the official 2021 summer analyst opening on the db website? I've done a lot of networking and stuff, but I can't find the actual online application anywhere. I know people already have offers so I'm probably too late.

I have a reliable source (VP who’s spoken to the HR on my behalf) who said there’s another process in fall. Plus, at info sessions they have mentioned that as well.
NYC first wave is done and apps closed on May 25th. Have heard regional offices like Chicago, Boston etc. will open up later this summer or early fall. There also will probably be another wave of NYC
I go to a DB target and they have not yet had a resume drop.
Maybe first wave for NYC was solely diversity recruiting then

Interviews will kick off in October. I tried accelerating the process with an exploding offer but didn't work.

Well, that's what I'm trying to figure out lol. For what it's worth, I had the same thing happen for the internship I did this past summer so, hopefully, it is a good sign.
