Deutsche FIC Insurance NYC

Have seen associate and director roles for DBs FIC Insurance team recently. Does anyone know what their rep is? Good deal flow? Culture? Comp (bonus especially).

I know DB gets a lot of shit here, but is this team good? Not sure who their direct competitors are at bigger BBs

Would appreciate any info. anyone has on them.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information available about Deutsche Bank's FIC Insurance team in NYC regarding their reputation, deal flow, culture, or compensation. However, Deutsche Bank as a whole has faced mixed reviews on WSO, with some threads highlighting challenges like restructuring and reputation issues, while others note solid opportunities in certain groups.

For compensation, general data from September 2023 shows the following for Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking roles: - Director/MD: $592K average total compensation - Vice President: $392K - Associates: $260K - Analysts (1st Year): $168K

While this doesn't directly address the FIC Insurance team, it provides a benchmark for comp levels. For competitors, larger BBs with strong FIC or insurance-focused teams might include JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citi.

If you're considering this team, it might be worth reaching out to current or former employees for direct insights into their culture and deal flow.
