Rather than beating yourself up about the number of missed shots, take this time to reflect on how you think they went.Did you properly network and show enough engagement with bankers throught the process at your key banks, or did you spread yourself thin and not give enough love to express genuine interest? How was your "why banking" story? Did you crush the technicals? How was the general conversation? Were you prepared? All that to say, you can't go change what happened, but you CAN learn from it and set yourself up for the next opportunity. Getting a job is hard work. Not getting into IB on the first shot (or at all) is not the end of the world. If you're still focused on getting in, keep trying. In the interim find a job in corporate finance, Corp dev, equity research, etc. things with transferable skills. If you have a solid work ethic and demonstrate that wherever you end up, you'll make it. Just don't give up on yourself..
