Disabled investment bankers
Hello everyone!
A little new here. I'm a current incoming freshman to a target school looking to pursue a career in finance. As someone with a pretty severe physical disability (use a mobility device), I've been searching around on LinkedIn for people in IB/PE that have a similar condition/situation as me, but to no avail. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with/or know someone who had similar conditions in both the recruitment and working process.
Thanks :)
I don't have any specific people to recommend to you, but as long as you are able to sit at a computer and type, you really will not face any questions or concerns in the recruitment process. I know it can be a different situation in high school and college, but in the workplace people are generally very respectful about things like this.
You should also look into diversity programs like GS Diverse Abilities. You may not qualify at every bank but there are some
Appreciate it, will definitely check it out
I read the title and thought of Citi
