Discussing deal with a banker
Hi guys,
If I wanted to discuss a deal that a banker from my firm recently worked on, taking into account that they probably can't say much due to compliance, what would you ask and what would you avoid?
If you have any go to questions for these discussions, that don't put bankers on a tough position, that'd be great
Thanks
If it’s closed and public (and bank’s involvement was too), you’ll have plenty to talk about. Don’t worry about putting him on the spot; bankers chub up when they get to say “I can’t really talk about that” or “that’s MNPI”
