Hi all--just finished up an internship at an EB but signed with a BB (GS/MS) for full-time. Am a rising senior but given how early on-cycle buyout interviews are figure it's worth looking into soon; curious to see if personal connections/network (ie: people that work at the firm I am recruiting with) can play a big role in getting interviews/an offer (as much as it does in IB) at the bigger buyout firms.
