Do Firms look at A Level Grades?

I've messed up my A levels really bad and ended up with B's and C's. I've always been a straight A student but ended up messing up the A level exam, but through clearing i might still be able to get into some low semi target university in the uk, my question is, will my low A level grades be a hindrance when i apply for jobs in finance as an International Student? if so is it advisable to resit my A levels and apply again next year? or do firms avoid students who take resits?

They will not avoid students who resit. Honestly when it comes to SA or FT jobs I don’t think it’ll matter much, they’ll look at your Uni grades track record and stuff you do in and around University to differentiate you. I didn’t do insanely well at my A levels but done well from 1st year Uni to graduation and was involved in lots of extra-curricular. I can’t speak for spring weeks however so i’ll leave that to somebody else but I think SA and FT you should be fine.
