Do lateral modeling tests provide a template?
As stated above, looking to lateral and know that many banks have modeling tests. Do they usually provide a template or do you have to build from scratch?

I was just joking...the point of the exercise is doing the modeling, not typing in the numbers. Modeling tests are more of a PE thing than IB, however in a true modeling test, you'd be expected to create the model itself, not just fill in the financials.

I did one where the three statements were mostly built out, then the DCF portion was barebones, and the LBO portion was a blank sheet except for the assumptions they wanted you to use.
