If you go to a poorly ranked (or unranked) MBA, starting at all in IB is gonna be the bigger problem rather than the level.
IBD is tough enough to break into without going to a target undergrad. Doubling down on prestigeless education by getting an MBA from a no name school is not the way to go.
I am more curious about how often (if ever) a masters in finance can land someone an associate role coming from another industry I.e corporate finance, commercial banking, asset management, wealth management etc
